Cut-Throat Cuties | NYT Kids Infographic

This editorial infographic & cover was created for New York Times: For Kids. Aiming to educate children on the fascinatingly dangerous traits carried by certain animals, Cut-Throat Cuties employs brightly colored, playfully childlike artwork that instantly captures the eye, with information spread out in a way that is engaging and fun to read. With 8 animals featured, children can learn the reasons why such cute animals have evolved to protect themselves, and how their traits can affect humans.
I had the wonderful opportunity to expand this project further and create the visuals for the annual KUCD Senior Portfolio Review event in the Communication Design program at Kutztown University. Shown below are the graphics that were created to help promote it.

With the portfolio review representing Kutztown University's entire Communication Design department, elements of all kinds of artists were included; a Macbook computer, pencil and pens, thumbnail sheets, sketches, and portfolio folders. I and the faculty wanted to be able to visually represent all of the artists attending with the graphics created.

Shown below are the website banner graphics.
The original poster was also resized and modified to accommodate the required information to advertise the event.
